Frank Lloyd Wright's Fireplaces
Geb. met stofomslag, 13,3 x 13,3 cm., 60 pag. Ca. 40 ills. Tekst: engels
As F.L.Wright's houses changed over seven decades, one dominant feature remained constant: a fireplace. In all he designed more than one thousand fireplaces, each meant to anchor the home architecturally and spiritually. Wright loved 'to see the fire burning deep in the masonry of the house itself.' Most of his fireplaces were brick or stone, and they were massive - cavelike centers that beckoned everyone with their warmth and light.
